Project history: Large seagoing iron-hulled gunboat.
Modernizations: 1900: new armament consisted of 1 x 1 - 149/37 SK L/40 C/92, 2 x 1 - 76/40 Armstrong N, 2 x 1 - 65/50 Hotchkiss, 2 x 5 - 37/17 Hotchkiss
Naval service: In 1900 Sleipner was reconstructed and converted to TS. In 1915 she was converted to accommodation ship and in 1921 to depot ship for naval aviation. She was finally BU in 1935.
