Project history: Enlarged version of Varg class torpedo boats with more powerful machinery and 23kts speed. One TT was placed on turning mount on an upper deck, second was immovable in a bow. To the Second World War beginning they have ultimately become outdated.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Ravn were scuttled by crew 18.4.1940 in the Lyngör-fjord at Arendal. Ørn 9.4.1940 was captured by German troops in Horten and commissioned by Germans as Schlange, after war in May, 1945 was returned to Norway, immediately stricken and broken up next year.
