Project history: Lürssen FPB57 design, type 143 with different armament. Planned 533mm TTs were never installed.
Modernizations: mid-1990s, all: - 4 x 1 Otomat Mk 1 SSM (missiles were time-expired)
Naval service: Agu formally remains in Navy list (2019), really she was cannibalized in the early 1990s to provide spares for other two. Ekpe and Damisa were refitted in 1995 but by 1997 had again become inoperable. Ekpe broke down en route during attempt to be deployed to Sierra Leone in 1997.
