Project history: "Flower" with considerably increased fuel stowage. They were built in
Britain and
Canada and differed only by boilers: British-built ships had traditional
fire-tube but Canadian-built ships had water-tube ones.
All 10 ships built in Britain are transferred to Commonwealth navies.
