Project history: British submarine H6 of Holland type (1st series). 18.1.1916 she was interned in the Netherlands after beaching and then sold by British Government to the Netherlands and 7.5.1917 was commissioned by Dutch Navy as O8.

Modernizations: late 1920s: + 1 x 1 - 37/45 Bofors, 1 x 1 - 7.9/80

Naval service: 14.5.1940 O8 was captured by German troops at Den Helder and commissioned by Kriegsmarine as UD1; she was stricken and wreck was scuttled 3.5.1945 at Kiel.
