Project history: Steel-hulled seagoing gunboats, intended for colonial service.
Modernizations: 1921, Serdang: - 1 x 1 - 105/32; + mines
Naval service: Serdang was converted to minelayer in 1921, laid up into reserve in 1926. In 1932 - 1937 and 1939 - 1942 she served as torpedo repair ship and scuttled off Sourabaya 6.3.1942.
