Project history: Standard British motor minesweepers, transferred for replacement of the mobilised trawlers. Very successful design of wooden coastal minesweeper able to sweep magnetic and acoustic mines.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Terschelling was sunk by German aircraft 12.7.1942. Marken was lost 20.5.1944 on a mine in a mouth of Thames. Vlieland was sunk in November, 1951 at coast of New Guinea.
