Project history: Eight of these inshore minesweepers were funded under MDAP and eight were purchased by the Netherlands. Although similar in size, conception and construction to the British 'Ham' class, they were strictly a national design, and could be distinguished from other European inshore minesweepers by the configuration of their funnel and mast.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: No significant events.
