Project history: A ship of unusual design with the 28cm turret forward, the 21cm gun in a shield aft and the 17cm also in shields on either beam.

Ship protection: Ship was protected by 50mm deck with 75mm slopes, the engine room had 125mm glacis and the boiler room 280mm glacis.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: No significant events.
