Project history: One of standard British-built MTBs of WWII era. Wooden-hulled. The first MTBs, transferred to Dutch Navy on lend-lease: MTB222 and 240 right after completions (and the first was replaced in some weeks by MTB235); and MTB229, 231 and 236 from British 9th MTB flotilla.

Modernizations:  1943 - 1944, all: - 1 x 2 - 12.7/62; + 1 x 2 - 20/70 Oerlikon Mk II/IV, 1 x 1 - 20/70 Oerlikon Mk II/IV

Naval service: No significant events.
