Project history: Small turret rams originally rigged with two masts. The upper deck was 1.1m above water with fore and aft superstructures.
Ship protection: Armoured 152mm belt protected full ship length. Turret had 278-203mm sides.
Modernizations: 1880s, both: - 1 x 2 - 229/14; + 1 x 1 283/20 Krupp No.1, 5 x 1 - 37/20 Hotchkiss, 2 x 5 - 37/17 Hotchkiss
Naval service: No significant events.
