Project history: Dutch SIGMA 10513 design (Ship Integrated Geometrical Modularity Approach), ordered in 2008. Modified and enlarged version of Indonesian SIGMA9113 Diponegoro. Similar to SIGMA9813 Sultan Moulay Ismail class but with an extra 7.2m hull section providing C&C facilities enabling to serve as fleet flagship.
