Project history: Danish Osprey 55 design. Intended for fishery protection, delivered without armament and were armed later. El Karib carries oil skimmer, El Lahiq has US-made mapping sonars and can be used as survey vessel. All have a stern ramp and door for launching 6.5m RIB.
Modernizations: late 2010s, all: - 2 x 1 - 20/90; + 2 x 2 - 14.5/93
