Project history: A class from 10 fast small coastal patrols was ordered in 1932. Project was developed in the Great Britain, but ships were built in Spain. A class was shared between flotillas of Pacific ocean (ships with odd numbers) and Caribbean sea (even numbers).
Ships had forecastle and "torpedo boat" streamlines.
After introduction of Mexico into WWII all ships passed modernization in the USA, however stability after that fallen to critical mark.

Modernizations: 1942, all: - 1 x 2 - 25/60, 2 x 2 - 13.2/76; + 3 x 1 - 20/70 Mk 4, 2 x 2 - 12.7/90, 2 DCT

Naval service: G24 was lost in 1946 as result of navigational accident.
