Project history: Designed on the basis of Japanese submarine chasers, but with significantly moderated dimensions, machinery power and speed. Japanese names were Kaiho and Koirun.

Naval service: 22.8.1945 both ships were captured Soviet troops at Port Arthur and 13.9.1945 commissioned by Soviet Navy as guard ships Veter and Shtil `.
