Project history: Launches were built in 1933-1934, assembled by Kawasaki in Harbin, launched 23.7.1934. Japanese names were Ryoga 1 and 2.
Besides, Manchurian Sungari flotilla had armoured motor gunboats Hai Tiang (22.8.1945 captured by Soviet troops), Hai Yuang (scuttled by crew 10.8.1945 or captured by Soviet armoured motor gunboats 15.8.1945), Kiang Ning and Kiang Tsing (both were discarded before 1945).
