Project history: Class was operated by Royal Malaysian Marine Police except PX17 and PX18 served in Sabah.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Three boats (Nos 2950-2952) were transferred to Maritme Enforcement Agency in 2012. Sri Gumangtong and Sri Labuan served till 1990 under the flag of Sabah Maritime Police.
