Modernizations: 1996, Al Sanbouk: - 9LV200 radar; + Sea Giraffe 50HC radar

2004, Al Sanbouk: - Matilda ECM suite; + Cutlass ECM suite, 9LV228 CCS

Naval service: Al Sanbouk escaped to Bahrain in 1990 upon Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, Al Boom, Al Betteel, Al Saadi, Al Ahmadi and Al Abdali were captured 2.8.1990, taken over by Iraqi Navy but were sunk or heavily damaged in January-February 1991 during Allied attack to Iraq.
