Project history: Former USN PC 173ft submarine chasers. First ship was purchased in September 1949 and delivered next year, next four were transferred during Korean War.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Jirisan was mined and sunk 26.12.1951 off Wonsan. Hanlasan was sunk in a typhoon at Guam in November 1962, later raised and scrapped in 1964.
