Project history: Built in 1897-1898 in Germany by Schichau under Post-war program of 1896-1897, assembled in Japan by Mitsubishi in 1.1899-4/1900.

Modernizations:  1905: - 3 x 1 - 47/30; + 1 x 1 - 76/40 Armstrong N, 2 x 1 - 57/40 6pdr Hotchkiss Mk I

Naval service: No significant events.
