late 1944, W17: + 1 x 2 - 25/60 96-shiki, 3-shiki 1-go radar, 93-shiki hydrophone
Naval service: W18 was damaged S off Hainan 25.11.1944 by US Army aircraft and foundered next day. W17 was damaged 18.3.1945 by US submarine Springer, 2.8.1945 again hard damaged on a mine and was not under repair.
