Project history: Hull has bulbous forefoot at the bow. Have a hangar and flight deck for one MH-53E mine-countermeasures helicopter. There is a stern door centerline, served by an articulating ramp, to permit the service and resupply of craft being supported. Flanking the stern door on either side on two deck levels are doors covering 4 mine rails. MST 463 is also fitted to receive a radar director and gun, but neither has been installed as yet.

Modernizations: mid-2010s, both: - OPS-18 radar; + OPS-39 radar

Naval service: No significant events.
