Project history: Minelayers for bases and ports defence. Design was created on the basis of trawler. Built under the 1940 programme.

Modernizations: None

Naval service: Ìà2 was lost 31.12.1942 on Dutch mine in Surabaya harbour. Ìà4 was sunk 20.11.1944 by British submarine Tally Ho S off Car Nicobar. Ìà1 27.3.1945 was lost on a mine laid by British submarine Porpoise off Belawan (Sumatra).
