Complement

 

Project history: Built under 1st Supplementary program of 1931. Slightly increased version of Nasami with higher endurance. Carried antisubmarine nets and minesweeping equipment.

Modernizations: 1943 - 1944: - mine capacity; + 4 DCT (36), 93-shiki hydrophone or 0-shiki sonar

Naval service: Sarushima was sunk 4.7.1944 at coast of Japan by US carrier aircraft.
