Project history: Chinese 3rd class destroyer Chien Kang was sunk by Japanese aircraft 27/09/1937 and later salvaged by Japanese, repaired and commissioned by Japanese Navy.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Used as patrol escort but stricken in 1939 in cause of poor condition. Real maximal speed after commissioning was not more than 20kts.
