Project history: Development of B type (Otsu-Gata) T1. They differed each other by as a hull material (steel on �23, �31, �32, �33 and �37 series or wooden on �25, �34, �35, �36, �38 and �39 series), and type and number of engines. Shortage of the latter has compelled to fit 238 boats with low-power (450hp) petrol engines. Since �31 series boats did not had cruising engines.
