Project history: British river gunboat Moth was scuttled by own crew 12.12.1941 at Hong Kong, salvaged by Japanese and after repair was commissioned by IJN 1.7.1942 as Suma.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Suma was mined and has sunk 19.3.1945 near Kiangying on Yangtze.
