Project history: Specially intended for service on China rivers, built under the 1896-1897 program. Fushimi has been built in Britain and assembled in Far East from ready sections from October, 1906.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Based at Shanghai and served till 1935, then have been handed over on demolition.
