Project history: First Japanese-built MTB, type B (Otsu-Gata) lead boat. Classified as Gyoraitei. Design was developed on basis of British 55ft CMB. In essence this boat was experimental. Wooden hull, with V-shaped frames. Had auxiliary 60hp cruising engine.
