Project history: Small submarine minelayers, designed on the sample of trophy Austro-Hungarian submarine U24 (ex-German UC12). Saddle-tank hull. The "German" scheme of minelaying: nine vertical trunks on two mines each. Unsuccessful boats, too slow and badly controlled.
Modernizations: early 1920s, both: + 2 - 450 TT (bow, 2)
Naval service: Since 1936 both were used for training. In September, 1940 both submarines were disarmed and converted to hulks.
