Project history: All were commissioned after Armistice. Submarines had progressive enough construction (in particular, batteries have been arranged for the first time in four separated compartments under a main deck), differed by easy manoeuvrability, but diving depth was limited.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Sebastian Vegniero was lost 6.8.1925 as result of collision with Italian merchant s/s Capena.
