Project history: Large "colonial" gunboat, served as dispatch vessel.

Naval service: Sebastiano Caboto was scuttled 9.9.1943 on shallow water at Rhodes by own crew to avoid capture, captured by Germans 12.9.1943 and sunk at the same place by British bombers this month being repaired.
