Project history: Ex-Yugoslavian minesweepers, purchased by them from Germany in 1921 without armament. Belonged to M57 class. Used by Italians mostly as patrols.
Modernizations: none.
Naval service: Eso and Selve were sunk by British aircraft off Djerba 19.1.1943 and at Benghazi 6.11.1942 respectively, Unie was sunk by American aircraft 30.1.1943 at Bizerta. Zirona was badly damaged by British aircraft at Benghazi and ran ashore 25.11.1941. Oriole was scuttled by own crew 10.7.1943 at Augusta.
