Project history: In April, 1941, after capitulation of Yugoslavia, six out-of-date 230t torpedo boats of Austro-Hungarian construction of the WWI-era (T1, 3, 5-8) were commissioned by Regia Marina.
Modernizations: 1942, T3: - 1 x 1 - 66/42, 1 x 1 - 66/27; + 2 x 1 - 76/30 Armstrong 1914.
1942, T5: - 2 x 1 - 66/42; + 2 x 1 - 76/30 Armstrong 1914
Naval service: T3 was captured by Germans at Rijeka 16.9.1943, commissioned by them as TA48, transferred by them to Croatian navy and sunk by Allied bombers 20.2.1945. T6 was scuttled by the crew off Casenatico, Adriatic sea. T7 was captured by Germans 8.9.1943 off Gruz, commissioned by them as TA34, transferred to Croatian Navy 17.6.1944 as T7 and sunk by British MTBs 24.6.1944. T8 was sunk by German aircraft 10.9.1943 NW off Dubrovnik.
