Project history: Ex-Austrian destroyers transferred by war reparations. Fasana and Zenson were not refitted for commission of Italian navy. All survived were reclassified as torpedo boats in October 1929.

Modernizations: 1920 - 1922, before commission all were armed with 2 x 1 - 100/47 G. L/50 K.10, 6 x 1 - 66/42 G. L/45 BAG, 2 x 1 - 6.5/80, 2 x 2 - 450 TT

Naval service: No significant events.
