Project history: USN destroyers of Fletcher class. Lanciere and Fante were DDE conversions, Geniere was 4-gun Fletcher. Weapon Alfa ASW launcher and quintuple TT were removed before transfer.

 

Modernizations: None.

 

Naval service: Lanciere was cannibalized for spares in two years after commission for maintaining of two survived ships.
