Project history: Albatros became the first attempt to create a specialised submarine chaser. The design was developed in 1931. It has appeared unsuccessful, and sister ship building have refused in favour of larger one (future Pegaso class). In 1938 she was re-rated from submarine chaser to torpedo boat.

Modernizations: 1939: + 2 x 1 - 37/54 Breda 1939

Naval service: Albatros 27.9.1941 was sunk by British submarine Upright off Messina.
