Project history: Torpedo boats, as a whole were considered rather successful (with reference to Adriactic Sea theatre) ships. Experimental torpedo boat 39RM had combined triple-shaft machinery (2 steam engines and 1 turbine).
Modernizations: 1916 - 1918: - 1 x 1 - 57/43; + 1 x 1 - 76/40 A1916
1918: boilers were replaced by 2 Thornycroft (26kts)
Naval service: No significant events.
