Project history: This vessel was built on the plans of the Messaggiere with a light gaff rig but modified by Chief Eng Edoard Masdea in order to re-use this ship's very good machinery.
Modernizations: 1889: - 4 x 1 - 75/21; + 4 x 1 - 57/43 N, 4 x 5 - 37/20 H corto
Naval service: After 1907 she served for some time as a depot ship at Panigaglia.
