Project history: FR60 was former Russian icebreaker, requisitioned by France and converted to minelayer.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: FR60 was scuttled by own crew at Tunisia 6.5.1943. Panigaglia was captured by Germans 8.9.1943 at La Spezia. Vallelunga was scuttled at La Spezia 9.9.1943, later salvaged and recommissioned by Germans as minelayer but 28.5.1944 sunk by Allied aircraft.
