Project history: MAS324 was designed bv Eng Captain Nino Pecoraro, modifying the 12 ton SVAN boat. The construction was slow, because the SVAN yards were full of work. So, the boat, even if ordered on 1 September 1917, was perhaps not laid down, and the order was cancelled on 19 June 1920.
