Project history: Water tankers with landing capability. Had small bow ramp.
Modernizations: 1939-1940, all: - 4 x 1 - 13.2/76; + 2 x 1 - 20/65 Breda 1939/40, 3 x 1 - 8.80
Naval service: Garigliano was captured by German troops 13.9.1943 at Maddalena, commissioned by Kriegsmarine as minelayer Dwarsläufer (later Oldenburg). 25.4.1945 she was scuttled by own crew but salvaged in 1946, repaired and served as water tanker till 1952. Scrivia was scuttled by own crew at La Spezia 9.9.1943.
