Project history: Designed and built in the Netherlands using the modular SIGMA (Ship Integrated Geometrical Modularity Approach) 9113 design. Intended for patrol duties in and around Indonesian waters and the Malaccan Straits. Duties include antipiracy, counter-smuggling, and fisheries patrol. Fitted with 22x12m helicopter landing deck, but no hangar. Ships received Exocet missiles only in 2010.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: No significant events.
