Project history: Designed by Rolls-Royce, based on Norwegian coast guard UT 51-class Herstad. Ordered 20.12.2006 to replace Odinn. Initially planned for delivery in 2010, the vessel suffered damage during earthquake 27.2.2010 being thrown ashore by tsunami, refloated after repair 31.5.2011 and delivered to Iceland 27.10.2011. 100t bollard pull, 305m² area aft can be used for cargo. Ship can perform firefighting, environmental, law enforcement, towing and rescue/lifesaving operations.

Modernizations: None.
