The arrangement of 102mm gun has been fulfilled lowered: on a deck in shielded barbette for stability improvement. Tactical designations were Y3-6.

Triton was sunk 16.11.1942 by German destroyer Hermes (former Greek Vassilefs Georgios) and submarine chaser UJ2102 in Aegean sea. Nirefs was stricken 3.5.1947, but broken up only in 1952.
