Project history: British escort destroyers of Hunt class. Ships of 3rd series were transferred to Greece even before completion in 1942; Themistoklis and Kriti were transferred after service in RN. Aigaion and Hastings were planned for transfer in April, 1944, but owing to revolt on Greek ships event 30.4.1944, transfer of former taken place only 21.5.1946 and latter was returned soon to RN.
Modernizations: 1943-1944, most: - type 286/P radar; + type 291 radar
Naval service: No significant events.
