Leopard was lost 30.4.1940 as result of collision with minelayer Preussen in Skagerrack. Luchs was sunk 26.7.1940 by British submarine Thames off Stavanger. Wolf was lost 8.1.1941 on a mine, laid by British patrol launch in La Manche. Iltis was sunk 13.5.1942 by British MTB221 in La Manche.
