Project history: ex-Polish river monitor, scuttled by own crew 9.9.1939 but salvaged by Germans.

Ship protection: Bullet-proof protection.

Modernizations: 1943: diesels were replaced by 2 Maybach petrol engines (600hp).

Naval service: Pionier was salvaged after war and served as Polish Okon.
