Project history: Former Czechoslovak monitor President Masaryk, captured at Czechoslovakia seizure 18.4.1939.
Ship protection: Ship had bullet-proof protection of hull and artillery.
Modernizations: 1940: - 1 x 2 - 7.9/90; + 1 x 1 - 20/65 C/38
(1 - 4.1944, Schiffswerft Linz): ship was completely reconstructed; new data were as follows: full displacement: 300t, dimensions: 48.00(wl) 49.0(oa) x 6.00 x 1.20m; 2 MWM diesels (1800hp), complement: 46 prs. Armament consisted of 2 x 1 - 66/35 Škoda, 1 x 1 - 37/80 SK C/30, 1 x 1 - 20/65 C/38, 1 x 1 - 7.9/79.
Naval service: In 1945 Bechelaren was returned to Czechoslovakia.
