Project history: Medium (Mittlere Räumboot, MR), small (Kleine Räumboot, KR) and river (Fluß-Räumboot, FR) R-boats were minesweeping boats for service on shallow-water and lake-river areas. FHR means Fluß-Hilfs-Räumboot (auxiliary minesweeping boat).
